Students of Manipur University held a protest demonstration at the gate of Manipur University today i.e. 24th December 2012 demanding the arrest of Livingstone Anal who assaulted a Manipuri film actress and against the shooting of a TV journalist who was covering a protest in front of the new Assembly building on the 23th December 2012. Students belonging to all communities joined in the peaceful protest. The students also displayed placards condemning the Chandel incident.
