Peoples of Imphal West Uripok Kangchup Road have been waiting since long time the repairing of this road and the peoples are quite extremely enduring the hardships of going on this road said a memorandum submitted to Works Minister by Kh Shyamkishor, Chairman of UK Road People’s Forum.
The organization regretted the negligence of the authority however appreciated the to start repairing from Iroishemba Foothill (Chingjin) upto Naoremthong.
The road is an important one and it stretches from Singda Dam to Khwairamband Bazar and one Lamshang Khurkhul road is also diverted from Lamshang Bazar.
The present condition of this road is horrible and passengers are afraid to travel on the road.
The a 20 km long road is the only vital road for the people of Lamshang, Sekmai and Uripok constituencies for their livelihood.
Patients face problems while taken to hospitals for treatment.
