Imphal, Jan 13: The office of the Directorate of Field Publicity, Imphal, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, has organised twelve programmes on National Rural Health Mission on the themes of JSY/JSSK, Immunisation, Malaria, HIV/AIDS. The last of the twelve programmes was held at the village of Sadokpam, Imphal West on 12-01-2013. At the programme organised at Sadokpam, the Chief Medical Officer, Imphal West District, Dr. Sarungbam Bimola Kumari Devi delivered speech on the themes of Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakram(JSSK), Janani Suraksha Yojana(JSY), Immunisation, Malaria and HIV/AIDS.
Prior to the programme at Sadokpam, the Directorate of Field Publicity, Imphal had already organised programmes at Keinou, Ngaikhong Siphai, Khoijuman at Bishnupur District, and at Charangpat, Khangabok, Heirok at the District of Thoubal and at Sanjenbam, Top Makha Leikai, Khergao, Top Khongnangkhong, Khurai and at Oinam Sawombung and Hiyangthang at the District of Imphal West.
The campaign which was inaugurated by the Speaker, Manipur Legislative Assembly on 11-12-2012 at Hotel Imphal has come to an end with the programme at Sadokpam, Imphal West District for Directorate of Field Publicity, Imphal. Mentioned may be made that Registered party of Song and Drama Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India, namely Manipur Youths Cultural Organisation, Porompat, Imphal East and Forward Artistes Centre En-Camped(FACE), Imphal also participated in the campaign.
