IMPHAL, Jan 15 NNN: The Golden Jubilee of T. Wakonphai Saikul celebrated today.
Gracing the occasion, Saikul MLA Yamthong Haokip said leaders alone cannot do anything. So he appeal the public to extend all out co-operation to the village chiefs, social organisation leaders and local leaders. “The public and the public leaders should join hands to bring development in the area,” Yamthong Haokiup added. The Saikul constituency MLA also stated that whatever differences one may have without extending co-operation to one another nothing can work.
Meanwhile, today’s Golden Jubilee celebration of T Wakonphai was attended by various leaders of Saikul area.
Melodious songs and choreographies marked the occasion.
Chief of T Wakonphai Mr Janglhun Touthang gave a welcome address while Mr Ngamthang who was the chairman of the Golden Jubilee Celebration gave the invocation prayer.
Rev S.K Dimgel who is the executive secretary of CH.BA(M) unveiled the Golden Jubilee stone.
After the unveiling of the stone was done, Pastor Lunlal Dougel released the sovenier of Golden Jubilee while Pastor Paokhothang Touthang of H.Moulhoi Baptise Church gave a solemn and meaningful prayer.
