IMPHAL, June 22: A reception ceremony of the meritorious students of four wards of Wangkhei Kendra was held today at the Khurai Laiwangba Sanglen organized by the 15th Wangkhei Kendra Development Forum Mantripukhri.
(L) Okram Lukhoi and (L) Okram (o) Saratlata memorial meritorious award sponsored by Okram family were distributed to 622 meritorious students of Class X and XII conducted by both the CBSE and the Board of Secondary Education Manipur.
Speaking at the ceremony as guest of honour W Rajen, Director of DIPR said education is important and though everyone understands it, most people have failed to work on it.
Students should choose thier own suitable fields and set their goals to achieve it.
Dr Kh Ratankumar Singh, Works Minister as chief guest said the society is based on knowledge so it’s important to improve the educational sector.
