IMPHAL, November 22: The Myanmar delegates along with the Chief Minister of Manipur O Ibobi Singh visited Moirang including INA Complex during a sightseeing tour as a part of the ongoing Manipur Sangai Festival which will be celebrated up to November 30, 2013.
The team first landed to Moirang Kangla and the replica of INA Moirang and due respect was paid to the statue of Subhaschandra Bose there by offering floral tributes. The team then viewed the INA War Museums.
The team then went to Sendra where they experienced the scenic view of the Loktak Lake and its surrounding lake landscape. The Myanmar delegates also enjoyed motor boating on the famous Loktak Lake, the only fresh water lake in the entire North East India.
The visiting team is led by Paban Singh Ghatawar including of His Excellency U Thar Aye, Chief Minister of Sagaing division and His Excellency U Ye Mynt, Chief Minister of Mandalay along with Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh, Dy CM Gaikhangam, Commerce and Industry Minister Govindas Konthoujam, Works Minister Kh Ratankumar Singh, PHED Minister I Hemochandra, Parliamentary Secretary of Tourism M Prithviraj Chief Secretary P C Lawmkunga, DGP MK Das.
