IMPHAL, March 30: The Thongjao Mahila Mandal has threatened to launch an intense form of agitation if the Government failed to come out with a white paper in the murder of Moirangthem Ibosana.
In a statement the Thangham Basanti Devi president Thongjao Mahila Mandal, questioned the police concerned for maintaining silence despite their claim of having made a breakthrough in the case.
It said that the people of Waikhong take the matter seriously as the victim was an innocent man who made a substantial contribution for its people.
Terming his low as a huge blow to the people, it urged the Government to take full responsible for unwanted incident to follow.
The deceased Moirangthem Ibosana, 37, son of late Thambaljao of Waikhong, was a director in private company of export and import, based in Delhi.
He was reportedly abducted on March 2nd around 7 pm from Kakwa Sofa Leirak and found death on March 4 alongside the inter village road connecting Langhtabal Phura Makhong Chingmai under Singjamei police station.
His face was badly bruised when he was found which the police suspected to be hit by blunt object.
