Ibotombi Sharma veteran leela artistes and Dr. K. Sobita Devi director art and culture Manipur graced the occasion as chief guest, president and guest of honour. Altogether 24 leela groups including 7 male group will take part at the festival. It will continue till Feb 18. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the last 39th All Manipur Shumang Leela festival 2011 at the occasion. A shumang leela of the Sangai Artistes association was also presented. The shumang leela of the female groups can be seen without entry fees.
