IMPHAL, July 17: The Red Shield Division claimed to have recovered 175 kgs of unprocessed narcotics in Karong of Senapati district today from an abandoned hut. The estimated cost of the seizure is approximately 75 lakhs in open market, informed a statement issued by the PIB Defense wing.

IMPHAL, July 17: The Red Shield Division claimed to have recovered 175 kgs of unprocessed narcotics in Karong of Senapati district today from an abandoned hut. The estimated cost of the seizure is approximately 75 lakhs in open market, informed a statement issued by the PIB Defense wing.

IMPHAL, July 17: Various farmers’ organizations of the state have condemned the agriculture minister Ph Parijat saying that he is playing divisive roles in the present fertilizer crisis.

The separate releases from All Manipur Progressive Farmers’ Association, Heirok Farmers’ Society, Nongpok Imphal Loumi-Sinmi Apunba Lup, Ngairangbam Farmers’ Society and Khundrakpam Apunba Loumi Lup stated that the farmers of the state are facing shortage of fertilizers in the state due to irresponsible act of the concerned agriculture minister. He cannot keep his promises to the farmers. The farmers are still buying the fertilizers at a much higher rate than the actual price fixed by the state government.

The farmers further appealed to the concerned authority to take up necessary actions to solve the present fertilizer crisis.

IMPHAL, July 17: Various farmers’ organizations of the state have condemned the agriculture minister Ph Parijat saying that he is playing divisive roles in the present fertilizer crisis.

IMPHAL, July 17: A motorist was killed today in a road mishap at Kyamgei Pallahanbi near Standard Robert English School under Singjamei Police station.

The victim is identified as one Irengbam Devananda, 49, s/o (L) Bheiga of Lilong Arapti. Reports said that the man coming on a NV scooter loose control and fell from his scooter. He was rushed to JNIMS but succumbed to his injury on the way.
